It’s finally Friday and officially the first day of Fall! I’m feeling pretty blessed today – I am currently en route to the Salt Lake airport to catch a flight to Seattle. I am meeting my mom and sister there for a quick girls weekend and a Coldplay concert! I am so excited!!
I’m gonna get a little cheesy here for a sec. How lucky are we to live in a world with so many different types of beauty? 4 distinct seasons, each bringing their own unique look and feel. Equally beautiful, equally appreciated, and each certain to happen every year without fail. I think when Heavenly Father created the earth, he knew changes would make us appreciate each season of life so much more! I know it’s that way for me. Maybe I’m the only one. haha. These photos were taken this morning right outside our back door. How cool is that?
When it comes to fashion this fall, I am smitten over anything cheetah or leopard print (anyone know the difference between those two?? Not me, hahah). I posted this sweater on here a few weeks ago, but I seriously can’t get enough of it! There are so many different ways it can be styled. And the best part – it was only $10 at H&M 😉
I seriously love reusing old things in my closet to make new combinations. Just ask my husband – I will spend an hour in my closet staring at my collection and coming up with new ways to style old pieces. I hang everything up using the handles on this dresser so I can stare at them for a few days before I wear or shoot them. haha. It’s actually really weird.
Invest in versatile pieces! Even if they are a little wild. Like these booties – Tyler hated them when I pointed them out to him in the store, and probably still hates them now…. But I have them worn them so many times with a number of different looks! 100% worth the investment. Other things like these faux leather leggings, this black tassel bag and statement necklace have all been in my closet for 2+ years. Get your moneys worth people!
Happy fall y’all!
Statement necklace | so old I can’t ever remember where I got it… similar one here!
